Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Trolley Car Overhauling to join our dynamic team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise trolley car overhaul operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize the performance and reliability of trolley cars
- Monitor and evaluate work performance, providing coaching and guidance to team members for skills development
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address technical issues and improve overhaul processes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Manage inventory and procurement of parts and materials necessary for trolley car overhauling
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in the maintenance and overhaul of trolley cars or similar rail vehicles
- Proven leadership experience in a technical or mechanical environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and safety regulations related to trolley cars
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Preferred:
- Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies
- Certifications related to mechanical engineering or rail vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with automated maintenance management systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of trolley car systems and components, including propulsion, braking, and control systems
- Experience using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Proficiency in safety management systems and regulatory compliance
