Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Managing Partner to lead our team of trial lawyers in delivering exceptional legal services and advocating for our clients' rights. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of trial lawyers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive professional development and excellence in legal practice.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance firm performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee complex litigation cases, ensuring the highest quality of legal representation for clients while managing risk and compliance.
- Engage in high-stakes trial work, presenting compelling arguments and effectively advocating for clients' interests in court.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the community, promoting the firm's values and objectives.
- Drive business development efforts and cultivate new client relationships to expand the firm's reach and influence.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 10+ years of experience as a trial lawyer, with a proven track record of handling complex litigation cases.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
- Demonstrated expertise in courtroom litigation, including jury trials and appellate work.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate legal complexities effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership or partnership role within a law firm.
- Active membership in relevant legal associations and bar organizations.
- Strong business acumen and experience in law firm management and operations.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Experience utilizing trial presentation software and other legal technology to enhance courtroom effectiveness.
