Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Architect or similar role, with a track record of successful database implementations.
- Deep knowledge of SQL Server technologies, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and performance tuning.
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Strong understanding of high availability solutions, including clustering and replication.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud-based SQL Server solutions (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Advanced proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT).
- Experience with database monitoring tools such as SQL Server Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor, and third-party monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
