Role Overview
We are seeking a Telecommunication Lines Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of telecommunication infrastructure. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring high service standards while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with field technicians to manage project timelines, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational excellence.
- Develop training programs for team members to enhance technical skills and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to optimize network performance and address service issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project status updates.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on line installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of telecommunication systems, including fiber optics and copper lines.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising technical teams.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards within the telecommunications industry.
Preferred:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Certifications related to telecommunications (e.g., NCTI, BICSI).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in telecommunications installation techniques and equipment.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of industry software for project management and reporting.
