Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Strategy to lead and innovate our strategic initiatives. In this senior leadership role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and oversee the execution of our strategic roadmap. The ideal candidate will leverage analytical insights and market research to identify growth opportunities and drive organizational alignment towards achieving our long-term vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate the organization's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends
- Lead strategic planning processes, facilitating discussions and gathering inputs from key stakeholders
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor landscape, and potential areas for innovation
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure success against strategic objectives
- Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, tracking progress and adjusting plans as necessary to stay aligned with business priorities
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and frameworks for strategic execution
- Mentor and guide teams in strategic thinking and analysis, driving a mindset of innovation throughout the organization
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in strategy development, management consulting, or corporate strategy roles
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale strategic initiatives from conception to execution
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels
Preferred:
- Experience in a senior leadership role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Familiarity with digital transformation strategies and emerging technologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of market analysis tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting strategic insights
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) to drive strategic initiatives
