Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, enhancing customer experiences, and driving sales performance. This role is critical in ensuring the store meets its revenue goals while maintaining a positive and productive environment for both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through effective merchandising and inventory management
- Lead and motivate the store team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or escalations promptly
- Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating team members to build a high-performing workforce
- Monitor store performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of retail management experience or relevant experience in a supervisory role
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet performance targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members
Preferred:
- Experience in inventory management and visual merchandising
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and retail analytics
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
