Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Foreman (Steel Rod Buster) to lead and manage our steel reinforcement projects remotely within [$COMPANY_LOCATION]. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of steel rods, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of steel rod busters and laborers on-site to ensure effective workflow and productivity
- Review project blueprints and specifications to determine the materials and supplies required for each job
- Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on techniques for steel rod bending and tying
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to address any issues or delays that may arise during the project
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in steel rod busting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in managing construction teams and overseeing large-scale projects
- Certification in construction safety or relevant trades
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
