Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solar Installation Supervisor to lead our installation teams in delivering high-quality solar energy solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing installation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations while enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate solar installation projects, managing teams across multiple sites to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Conduct site assessments and evaluations to determine project feasibility and scope
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and adhere to local building codes and regulations
- Implement best practices for safety and training, fostering a culture of safety among team members
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align installation processes with overall project goals
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, resource allocation, and inventory management
- Engage with customers to provide updates and address any concerns during the installation process
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in solar installation or a related field, with a proven record of managing installation teams
- Strong understanding of solar technology, installation processes, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with project management software and tools
Preferred:
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Experience in residential and commercial solar installations
- Familiarity with renewable energy policies and regulations
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using solar design software and tools
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety practices
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
