Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee our snowmobile repair operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure optimal shop performance, manage a skilled team of technicians, and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality repairs to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily shop operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Oversee and mentor a team of technicians, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage procurement of parts and supplies to ensure timely repairs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Monitor shop performance metrics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a management role within the automotive or snowmobile repair industry.
- Strong technical background in snowmobile repairs, including engine rebuilding, electrical systems, and suspension.
- Proven experience in managing a team and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
Preferred:
- Certification from a recognized automotive or snowmobile repair program.
- Experience with inventory management and shop management software.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and technologies in snowmobile repairs.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing snowmobile mechanical and electrical systems.

- Familiarity with shop management software for tracking repairs and managing inventory.
