Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Route Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our sales operations across multiple routes, ensuring that our products reach customers efficiently while maximizing profitability. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of route sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and maximize route efficiency
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives
- Foster strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Conduct regular route audits to assess performance and implement necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance product offerings and promotional strategies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in a route-based or distribution environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer relationship management
Preferred:
- Experience in the food and beverage industry or consumer goods
- Familiarity with route management software and CRM systems
- Leadership experience in training and developing sales teams
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools
- Experience with data analysis tools to measure sales performance
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and sales forecasting
