Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Service Manager to lead our remote team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire room service operation, ensuring that our service standards are upheld, and that our guests receive timely and efficient delivery of their meals and beverages.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative room service strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Manage the remote team of room service staff, providing training and support to ensure high service quality
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of room service menus, ensuring variety and alignment with guest preferences
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess service delivery and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring swift resolutions that uphold our service standards
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations related to food service
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a food service management role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of managing remote teams and driving operational excellence
- Strong understanding of room service operations, menu design, and food safety standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-centric mindset
Preferred:
- Experience with digital ordering systems and technology integration in room service
- Hospitality or culinary-related degree or certification
