Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Systems Project Manager to oversee and manage complex refrigeration projects from conception to completion. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and delivering innovative refrigeration solutions that align with our commitment to sustainability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of refrigeration system projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate progress, address challenges, and align stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental considerations
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the refrigeration or HVAC industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of refrigeration technologies, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools)
- Familiarity with sustainable refrigeration practices and technologies
- Experience in budget management and cost control for large-scale projects
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of refrigeration systems design, installation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and layout of refrigeration systems
- Understanding of energy management systems and building automation technologies
