Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Equipment Service Manager to lead our service organization in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our radiology equipment. In this role, you will oversee a team of service engineers, manage service contracts, and develop strategies to enhance service delivery while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of service engineers, providing guidance and support in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of radiology equipment
- Manage service contracts and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) while optimizing service delivery processes
- Develop and implement training programs for service personnel to enhance technical skills and knowledge of radiology systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements impacting radiology equipment service
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in service management or technical support within the medical device or radiology industry
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound systems
- Proven track record of managing service teams and delivering high-quality customer service
Preferred:
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality management systems in the healthcare sector
- Certifications related to biomedical engineering or equipment service management
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of radiology imaging technologies and associated maintenance protocols
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with inventory management systems and service management software
