Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and managing budgets, all while implementing effective property management strategies that align with our company's mission.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement property management strategies, including lease renewals, tenant retention programs, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with tenants and address any issues or concerns swiftly and professionally.
- Oversee property maintenance, including scheduling repairs and working with vendors to ensure timely completion of work.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, including forecasting expenses and monitoring financial performance.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with leasing agents to ensure the timely and effective leasing of available units.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in property management or related field.
- Strong understanding of property management software and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with tenants and vendors.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Experience with residential or commercial properties.
- Property management certification (e.g., CAM, CPM) is a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare budget reports.
