Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical and strategic-minded Production Analysis Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing production data analysis, driving insights that enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring data-driven decision-making across production processes. You will lead a team dedicated to optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of production data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for process improvements
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies that enhance production efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for production operations
- Oversee the production of detailed reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management
- Mentor and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of analytical thinking and continuous improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and present actionable recommendations
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production analysis, operations management, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and efficiencies
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software
- Understanding of database management and SQL
