Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Pre-K Curriculum Coordinator to join our dynamic educational team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum that fosters a love for learning in our youngest learners, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate high-quality, age-appropriate curriculum for Pre-K students that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with educators to integrate creative teaching strategies that engage young learners and accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Conduct regular assessments and observations to monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to the curriculum as needed.
- Provide ongoing professional development and support for teachers to enhance their instructional practices.
- Engage with families and the community to ensure alignment and support for the curriculum goals.
- Stay current with early childhood education trends, research, and best practices to continually enhance the curriculum.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in early childhood education, with a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Proven ability to design curriculum and instructional materials tailored to young learners.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and community partners.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience with curriculum frameworks and assessment tools specific to early childhood education.
- Knowledge of state and federal early childhood education regulations and standards.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with educational technologies and tools that support curriculum delivery and assessment.
- Experience using data analysis tools to evaluate student performance and curriculum effectiveness.
