Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pool Maintenance Manager to oversee our comprehensive pool maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency for our pool facilities. You will lead a team of maintenance professionals while implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of pool maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Supervise and train a team of maintenance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for pool cleaning, water chemistry testing, and equipment upkeep
- Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities, identifying and addressing maintenance issues proactively
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with facility management to coordinate maintenance activities and special projects
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolution
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or a similar role, with a strong understanding of water chemistry and pool systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to pool operations
- Valid pool operator certification or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or recreational industry
- Background in facility management or maintenance operations
- Technical expertise in pool equipment and maintenance technologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with pool maintenance software and scheduling tools
- Proficiency in water testing and analysis equipment
