Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Personal experience with mental health or substance use recovery that informs your support approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Certification as a Peer Support Specialist or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Preferred:
- Experience in a peer support role within a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
- Knowledge of local resources and support services available to clients.
- Ability to facilitate group sessions and workshops effectively.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms for remote support.
