Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiologist to join our team dedicated to providing exceptional care for children with congenital and acquired heart conditions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the highest quality of cardiovascular care for our young patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments of pediatric patients with heart conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and current guidelines
- Perform interventional procedures and oversee patient follow-ups to monitor progress
- Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate holistic care
- Engage with families to provide education and support regarding treatment options and care plans
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric cardiology
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship
- Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric cardiology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with patients and families
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership role or active involvement in clinical education
- Published research or presentations in the field of pediatric cardiology
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and other diagnostic imaging techniques
- Experience with advanced cardiac interventions and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms
