Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Patent Attorney to join our dynamic legal team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and prosecuting patent applications across various technologies and industries

- Collaborate with inventors and technical teams to understand inventions and prepare clear, comprehensive patent applications
- Support the management of patent portfolios and provide strategic advice on patent-related matters
- Stay current on patent law and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and practices
- Engage in client communications to gather technical information and provide updates on application status
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- Strong technical background in engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects
Preferred:
- Prior experience in patent prosecution or intellectual property law
- Familiarity with patent databases and research tools
- Interest in technology development and innovation
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Understanding of patent law and regulations, including USPTO procedures
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and technical reports
