Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- 10+ years of experience in oral surgery, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and excellence
- Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of surgical techniques and patient care
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Proven ability to manage departmental budgets and resources effectively
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in advanced surgical techniques, including but not limited to dental implants, bone grafting, and corrective jaw surgery
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and surgical planning software
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve surgical processes and patient outcomes
