Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic VP of National Accounts to lead our efforts in developing and managing key relationships with our national clientele. This pivotal role will focus on driving revenue growth through strategic account management, fostering deep partnerships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies that maximize revenue opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction
- Lead the national accounts team in identifying and engaging key stakeholders within target organizations
- Drive the execution of sales initiatives and performance metrics to achieve company revenue and growth objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align strategies and enhance customer value
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine offerings and drive continuous improvement in service delivery
- Foster a culture of excellence within the national accounts team, mentoring and developing team members to reach their full potential
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in account management or sales leadership roles, preferably within a national or enterprise context
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through strategic partnerships with national accounts
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive business decisions
Preferred:
- Experience in a similar industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape
- Advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Established network of relationships within key national accounts
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics software to track performance and drive strategy
- Familiarity with digital marketing and lead generation tools to enhance account engagement
- Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting techniques to inform strategic decisions
