Role Overview
We are looking for a Marine Service Manager to lead our service operations and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction within the marine industry. This role will involve overseeing service teams, managing customer relationships, and driving operational excellence to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the marine service team, ensuring effective scheduling, resource allocation, and overall operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring timely resolution of service issues
- Implement and optimize service processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Analyze service performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with sales and technical teams to provide seamless service solutions and enhance customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for service staff to enhance skills and knowledge
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in marine service management or related field
- Proven track record of managing service teams and improving service delivery processes
- Strong understanding of marine equipment, systems, and service procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
- Experience with ERP systems and service management software
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the marine industry
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in service management software and tools
- Knowledge of marine equipment diagnostics and repair processes
