Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Director of Marketing Analytics to lead our data-driven marketing initiatives. This role will be instrumental in shaping our marketing strategy through data insights and performance metrics, driving growth and ensuring that our marketing efforts align with our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy that drives marketing effectiveness and optimizes ROI across all channels.
- Lead a team of analysts in gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data from various marketing campaigns to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product to ensure alignment and integration of analytics in strategic decision-making.
- Design and implement dashboards and reporting frameworks to track performance metrics, KPIs, and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and segmentation analysis, to inform marketing strategies and improve customer targeting.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and enhance our analytical capabilities.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a proven track record of driving results through data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data science methodologies, including regression analysis, A/B testing, and multivariate testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in a leadership or management role, with a focus on mentoring and developing analytics teams.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media analytics.
