Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Machinery Dismantling Supervisor to oversee and manage the dismantling operations of heavy machinery. In this role, you will lead a skilled team, ensuring that all dismantling processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. You will play a critical part in optimizing workflows and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the dismantling process.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all machinery dismantling operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance skillsets and performance
- Develop and implement dismantling plans that optimize efficiency and reduce downtime
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges, ensuring continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of dismantling activities, including inventory management and reporting
- Act as a liaison between upper management and the dismantling team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in machinery dismantling or heavy equipment operations
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role, with strong team management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of dismantling techniques, safety regulations, and equipment handling
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry
- Certifications related to heavy machinery operation and safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative work environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in dismantling heavy machinery, including cranes, excavators, and other construction equipment
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulations
- Experience using dismantling tools and equipment, including hydraulic systems and power tools
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems as related to heavy machinery
