Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lead LVN) to oversee the daily operations and nursing staff within our healthcare facility. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols while mentoring and guiding a team of nursing professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of LVNs, ensuring optimal patient care and adherence to established protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress to ensure effective treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.
- Implement and enforce nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Current LVN license in the state of practice.
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of patient care standards, nursing practices, and healthcare regulations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience in a specialized healthcare setting (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics, rehabilitation).

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation practices.
