Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (Lead LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your clinical expertise and leadership skills to enhance patient care delivery, oversee nursing staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a pivotal role in driving quality improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence in patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Licensed Practical Nurses, providing guidance on best practices and professional development opportunities.
- Coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal nursing regulations and maintain high standards of care in accordance with established policies.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and enhance clinical competencies among nursing staff.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and management, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- 5+ years of clinical experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of nursing practices, patient care protocols, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Experience in telehealth or remote patient care settings.
- Certification in a specialty area (e.g., medication administration, wound care).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Familiarity with patient management software and clinical decision support tools.
- Strong analytical skills to assess patient data and derive actionable insights.
