Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Analyze and improve existing logging processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on logging best practices and system design principles.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to log data to ensure optimal operation of logging services.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or software development with a focus on logging or observability.
- Proficient in designing and implementing logging solutions using tools such as ELK stack, Splunk, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and documentation.
Preferred:
- Experience with log analysis tools and techniques for performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Knowledge of security best practices related to log data management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
