Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Loan Closing Manager to lead our loan closing operations. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for overseeing the closing process for residential and commercial loans, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to our clients and partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end loan closing process, ensuring timely and accurate closings while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve any issues that may arise during the closing process.
- Conduct thorough reviews of closing documents, including closing disclosures, settlement statements, and loan agreements, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce closing time while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of closing specialists, providing training and support to foster their professional growth.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and recommend necessary process adjustments.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in loan closing or a related field, with a strong understanding of mortgage processes and regulations.
- Proven track record of managing closing operations with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Experience with loan origination systems and closing software.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and industry best practices.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and loan processing software.
- Familiarity with e-closing technologies and digital documentation solutions.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to track closing metrics and performance.
