Role Overview
We are seeking a Line Service Supervisor to lead our dynamic team in providing exceptional service and support to our clients in the aviation industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality service standards across all line service operations. You will be responsible for supervising daily operations, mentoring team members, and implementing best practices to enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily line service operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
- Coordinate and schedule team activities for efficient workflow and resource allocation
- Provide hands-on leadership, mentorship, and training to line service personnel, fostering a culture of excellence
- Ensure timely and accurate fueling, towing, and ground handling services for all aircraft
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying maintenance needs and ensuring operational readiness
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing service quality and efficiency
- Address and resolve customer service issues promptly, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in line service operations within the aviation industry
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing teams
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- FAA certifications or relevant aviation industry credentials
- Experience with flight operations and customer service within a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using ground service equipment and aviation management software
- Familiarity with aircraft types and their specific ground handling requirements
