Role Overview
We are looking for a Clinical Director (Mental Health Counseling) to lead our clinical team in delivering high-quality mental health services. In this role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and develop programs that promote mental health and wellness in our community. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of mental health professionals, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to enhance the skills and competencies of clinical staff.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and community organizations, to enhance service delivery and promote mental health initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of programs and services, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Lead crisis intervention efforts and provide support during critical incidents within the organization.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
- 5+ years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of mental health treatment modalities and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse clinical team.
Preferred:
- Experience in program development and implementation.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and data management.
- Advanced training or certification in specialized treatment modalities (e.g., trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in clinical assessment tools and methodologies.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and digital health technologies.
- Familiarity with state and federal mental health regulations and compliance standards.
