Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and driven Associate Clinical Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this fully remote position, you will provide therapeutic support to clients, leveraging evidence-based practices to promote mental well-being and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document clinical interactions and maintain confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
- Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision to enhance therapeutic skills
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to diverse populations
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and interventions
Preferred:
- Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling platforms
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices
- Proficiency in working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals with substance use disorders
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to utilize data analytics for client assessments and outcomes tracking
- Familiarity with mental health assessment tools and screening instruments
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards clients
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
