Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Service Manager to oversee our lawn care operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and quality to our clients. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in horticulture and lawn management to lead a team of technicians, enhance service delivery, and drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of lawn care technicians, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement lawn care programs tailored to client needs, incorporating best practices in turf management and pest control.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess lawn conditions, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Manage scheduling and logistics for service appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely service delivery.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for lawn care products and equipment, coordinating with suppliers as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Track and report on service metrics, using data to inform improvements and adjustments to service offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote lawn care services and engage with potential clients.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in lawn care management or a related field, with a proven track record of leading teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of turf management, pest control, and horticultural practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
Preferred:
- Experience with project management tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Certification in turf management or landscape management is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with lawn care equipment and maintenance practices.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and mobile applications for field service management.
- Experience with data analysis tools to assess service performance and customer feedback.
