Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Manager to lead our innovative research team and oversee laboratory operations in a fully remote environment. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving excellence in research methodologies. Responsibilities
- Establish and manage laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of scientists and technicians, promoting professional growth and fostering an environment conducive to innovation.
- Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation to optimize laboratory operations and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:

- 5+ years of experience in laboratory management or a related field, with proven leadership abilities.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience in a remote work environment and familiarity with virtual collaboration tools.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals and experience with grant writing.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
