Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and analytical Director of Job Analysis to lead our efforts in evaluating and optimizing job roles across the organization. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of job analysis methodologies to assess role effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with HR, management, and other stakeholders to gather data on job performance, competencies, and market trends.
- Conduct comprehensive job evaluations and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain a job architecture framework that supports career progression and talent development.
- Analyze job data to produce actionable insights that inform recruitment strategies, compensation structures, and training programs.
- Oversee the creation of job descriptions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational values.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by championing innovative job analysis practices and tools.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in job analysis, organizational development, or HR strategy, with a track record of leading successful projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
- Experience with job evaluation methodologies, including competency modeling and market benchmarking.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights effectively to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership role within a large, complex organization.
- Familiarity with HR technology platforms and data analytics tools.
- Certifications in job analysis or related fields (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to visualize and interpret job data.
- Knowledge of HR information systems (HRIS) and talent management software.
- Understanding of labor market trends and job evaluation frameworks.
