Responsibilities
- Lead and manage immigration law cases, ensuring comprehensive legal strategies tailored to clients' unique situations
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff, fostering professional development and a culture of excellence
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and representation in matters such as visas, green cards, and citizenship
- Stay abreast of changes in immigration law and policy, ensuring compliance and strategic advice for clients
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and prepare for hearings and appeals
- Oversee the preparation and submission of immigration applications, petitions, and related documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to advocate for clients' interests effectively
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 10+ years of experience in immigration law, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes
- Active bar membership in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction
- Demonstrated expertise in various immigration processes, including employment-based and family-based immigration
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership role within a law firm or legal department, with a focus on immigration
