Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Manager to lead our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning operations. In this role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring high performance and reliability across our facilities. You will spearhead projects, manage a team of technicians, and collaborate with various departments to deliver efficient solutions that align with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the HVAC team’s daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize system performance and reduce downtime.
- Manage HVAC projects from conception through completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of HVAC systems, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with facilities management and other departments to identify energy-saving opportunities and implement best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
- Experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
Preferred:
- Experience with energy management systems and sustainable HVAC practices.
- Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC design principles and load calculations.
- Proficiency in HVAC software tools for system design and energy modeling.
- Experience with monitoring and control systems for HVAC operations.
