Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort throughout our facilities. In this role, you will lead daily operations, manage schedules, and train staff to deliver exceptional service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain quality control and address any issues promptly.
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff to enhance performance and foster professional development.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and address any housekeeping-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of staff performance, inventory, and supply usage, providing reports to management as required.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and best practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Preferred:
- Experience with inventory management systems and scheduling software.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using housekeeping management software and tools.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and cleaning product safety.
