Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Grants Management to lead our grants operations and drive impactful funding initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the entire grants lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with our organizational mission. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure funding that supports our programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the grants management strategy to optimize funding opportunities and compliance
- Manage the grant application process, including proposal writing, budgeting, and submission of funding requests to various sources
- Supervise the grants management team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development to enhance team capabilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with funders, stakeholders, and partners to foster collaboration and secure additional funding
- Monitor and evaluate grant-funded projects to ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations for future grant opportunities
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on grant performance, compliance, and funding strategies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in grants management, including leadership roles
- Proven track record of successful grant writing and securing funding from diverse sources
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and private grant regulations and compliance requirements
Preferred:
- Experience working within a nonprofit organization or educational institution
- Familiarity with grant management software and tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in grants management software (e.g., Fluxx, Grantium) and project management tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) to track grant performance
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills related to grant funding

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly

Location
