Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Cage Manager to oversee and manage the operations of our gaming cage. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of financial transactions, maintaining compliance with gaming regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service in a bustling environment. As a Cage Manager, you will lead a team of cage personnel, develop operational strategies, and ensure the integrity of all financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the gaming cage, ensuring timely and accurate cash handling and transactions
- Train, mentor, and supervise cage staff, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor compliance with gaming regulations and internal control policies, conducting regular audits
- Collaborate with finance and security teams to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns effectively
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in casino operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage cash handling operations with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to team development
Preferred:
- Experience with financial reporting and budgeting in a casino environment
- Proficiency in casino management systems and software
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Strong understanding of cash management systems and financial controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting and analysis
- Familiarity with gaming software and surveillance systems
