Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Casino Cage Manager to oversee the operations of our casino's cash handling and customer service areas. This pivotal role requires a blend of leadership, financial acumen, and exceptional customer service skills to ensure efficient and compliant operations within the casino cage environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the casino cage, including cash handling, transaction processing, and customer service
- Oversee a team of cashiers, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal service delivery
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies regarding cash handling and reporting
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular audits of cash handling processes, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance guest experiences
- Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and resolve disputes effectively
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in casino cage operations or a related field
- Strong understanding of cash handling procedures and compliance regulations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a managerial role within a casino environment
