Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and compassionate Director of Funeral Services to lead our team in delivering exceptional funeral experiences that honor the lives of the deceased while providing comfort to their families. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of funeral directors and support staff, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing funeral services.
- Oversee the planning and execution of funeral services, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to family wishes.
- Manage the budget and financial performance of the funeral services department, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community organizations, and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor during their time of need.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in funeral services management or a related field.
- Valid funeral director license and strong understanding of relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and customer service.
Preferred:
- Experience with grief counseling or support services.
- Proficiency in funeral service software and technology.
- Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in funeral service management software for scheduling and case management.
- Familiarity with embalming and cremation processes and regulations.
