Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in mortuary science or related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with families in a compassionate manner
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a funeral home or related environment is a plus
- Basic knowledge of funeral service practices and regulations
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with funeral service software and systems for managing records and scheduling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes
