Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Funeral Services Manager to lead our remote team in delivering compassionate and professional service to families during their time of need. In this role, you will oversee the operational aspects of our funeral services, ensuring that all processes adhere to industry standards while providing support and guidance to our staff and families.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all aspects of funeral services, including logistics, staff scheduling, and compliance with regulations
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance service delivery and efficiency
- Provide leadership and training to funeral staff, promoting a culture of empathy and excellence
- Coordinate with families to plan personalized services that honor their loved ones
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all services
- Monitor and evaluate service quality, implementing improvements as necessary
- Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in funeral services or related field
- Valid funeral director's license
- Strong understanding of funeral service operations and regulations
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Preferred:
- Experience in a managerial role within the funeral industry
- Background in grief counseling or support services
- Familiarity with digital tools for remote service management
