Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Lead Foreign Banknote Teller to oversee the processing and handling of foreign currency transactions within our financial institution. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all currency operations while leading a team of tellers to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the foreign banknote processing department, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the accurate counting, sorting, and verification of foreign currency, including detecting counterfeit notes and managing discrepancies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on excellence in customer service.
- Implement operational improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of currency operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows and address any operational challenges that arise.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to foreign currency transactions, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in banknote processing or a related field, with a strong understanding of foreign currency operations.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling currency transactions.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience with currency verification technology and automated processing systems.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
