We are seeking an Assistant Financial Reporting Manager to join our dynamic finance team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management regarding financial performance
- Support the year-end audit process by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and processes for improved efficiency and accuracy
- Assist in the development of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software
Preferred:
- CPA certification or progress towards certification
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas
- Familiarity with financial reporting software and tools
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
