Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lineworker Supervisor to oversee and manage our team of lineworkers in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution systems. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively coordinate field operations while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of lineworkers, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- Develop and implement work schedules, assigning tasks based on project requirements and team capabilities
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and compliance
- Monitor work quality and performance, providing feedback and coaching to team members as needed
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing projects
- Respond to emergency situations and outages, coordinating response efforts to restore service
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical linework, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and industry regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Valid [state] driver's license and completion of relevant safety training programs
Preferred:
