Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Electric Sign Assembly Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in manufacturing high-quality electric signs. In this role, you will oversee the assembly process, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help us innovate and improve our assembly techniques, making a significant impact on our operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily assembly operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Lead, train, and mentor assembly team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork
- Implement efficient assembly processes and workflows to optimize productivity and minimize waste
- Monitor assembly output and quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate interpretation of specifications and designs
- Maintain inventory control of materials and components required for assembly
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback to team members
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in electric sign assembly or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring, and assembly techniques
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively, with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with assembly tools and machinery, including soldering and wiring
Preferred:
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards related to sign manufacturing
- Certifications in electrical systems or related fields
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems, components, and their applications in sign manufacturing
- Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment
- Experience with CAD software for interpreting design specifications
