Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Lead Dub Room Engineer to join our dynamic audio production team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Lead the dubbing process for audio projects, coordinating with directors, producers, and sound designers to ensure artistic vision is realized
- Oversee and manage the dubbing studio, including equipment setup, maintenance, and optimization for peak performance
- Implement industry-leading audio mixing techniques, utilizing tools like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and various plugins to achieve superior sound quality
- Conduct critical listening sessions and provide constructive feedback to audio engineers and voice talent
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative audio solutions and streamline dubbing workflows
- Train and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in audio engineering or sound design, with a focus on dubbing and post-production
- Proficient in audio editing and mixing software, including Pro Tools and Logic Pro
- Strong understanding of audio signal flow, acoustics, and sound manipulation techniques
- Proven track record of managing audio projects from inception to completion
Preferred:
- Experience working in film, television, or gaming industries is a plus
- Familiarity with various audio formats and delivery standards
- Experience with Dolby Atmos and immersive sound technologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in digital audio workstations (DAWs) and audio editing software
- Knowledge of audio hardware, including microphones, mixers, and speakers
- Proficiency in sound design, noise reduction, and audio restoration techniques
