Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Podiatric Surgeon to join our innovative healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics of patients with foot and ankle disorders.
- Execute advanced surgical procedures, including bunionectomies, reconstructive surgeries, and trauma-related interventions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that encompass both surgical and non-surgical options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, orthotists, and primary care providers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in podiatric surgery and implement best practices within your practice.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, rehabilitation, and preventive measures to promote long-term health.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- D.O. or M.D. degree with a specialization in Podiatric Surgery.
- Board certification in Podiatric Surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in podiatric surgery, demonstrating a track record of successful surgical outcomes.
- Strong understanding of the complexities of foot and ankle anatomy and pathology.
Preferred:
- Fellowship training in a specialized area of podiatric surgery.
- Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques and advanced imaging technologies.
- Proven ability to conduct research and contribute to clinical advancements in podiatric medicine.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in surgical techniques, including arthroscopy, osteotomy, and soft tissue reconstruction.
- Proficient in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient management and documentation.
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms to facilitate remote consultations and follow-ups.
